CryptoStream Ripple announced a partnership with Madonna and her charity Raising Malawi, leading a fundraiser for orphaned children one of the world’s poorest countries, Malawi.
The charitable action dated for birthday of the famous singer — 16 August Madonna will turn 60 years old. According to her, this day “the best gift” will be to bring together her “global family with this beautiful country and the children who most need help.”
To take part in the action and congratulate the singer can be anyone. All donations will be directed to a non-profit organization Raising Malawi, founded by Madonna and American screenwriter Michael Berg (Michael Berg) in 2006 and is actively cooperating with the children’s centre, Malawi’s Home of Hope, working with orphans and low-income families.
As reported in the corporate blog Ripple, the startup will double all donations collected in the campaign.

The campaign was launched on 30 July and will last until August 31. However, according to information provided in Facebook, within the first two days managed to collect more than $27 000 — almost half the amount named as target of us $60 000.

Raising Malawi helps provide children with health services, including the establishment of the first intensive care pediatric surgery. The educational projects include construction of new schools, provision of necessary equipment and scholarship programs.
