Blockchain startup Enigma is involved in the work of Intel on improving the protection of smart contracts that ensure data privacy. Later Enigma I hope to partner with other companies to develop applications that will support the Protocol startup and Intel Software Guard Extensions (SGX) and test their joint work.
At the moment Enigma and Intel are conducting research and development in a secure execution environment (TEE), ensuring the security of code and data in the main device CPU, separate from the operating system. The experience and the results of the work they intend to apply for scaling up to production level.
Recall that last year, the Enigma project Catalyst has attracted during ICO $45 million investment, though there has been a phishing attack. The creators of blockchain-the Enigma project has reimbursed all affected investors.
