Leading manufacturer mining equipment Bitmain announced the start of sales of new ASIC devices for mining Antminer bitcoin — S15 and T15, equipped with a 7-nm chips.

According to information on the company website, the cost is presented in two device versions is $1475 for Antminer S15 and $913 for Antminer T15. Pre-deliveries – between 20 and 31 December 2018.
As reported ForkLog representatives Bitmain, Antimer S15 provides a new level of efficiency through the use of 7-no chip, uniting more than 1 billion transistors per unit. This feature greatly improves the computational characteristics of the Antminer.
In addition, the chip Antminer S15 uses a new solution for the matrix packaging, beyond the traditional boundaries. Back plate is in contact directly with the heatsink, greatly improving heat transfer efficiency.
The high-performance model Antminer S15 can reach Hasrat 28 Th/s with power efficiency of up to 57 J/TH; while the energy-saving model reaches the target of 50 J/TH, supporting hash rate at 17 TH/s.
As for Antminer T15, the older model reaches the target of 23 Th/s with power efficiency of up to 67 J/TH; energy saving model has a 20 TH/s with power efficiency at 60 J/TH.
Both models have an improved system of heat transfer. The devices use parallel fan design, allowing to reduce the speed of the air flow and reduce the resistance. As a result, the reliability of ASIC miners has been enhanced while reducing maintenance costs.
As the producer, thanks to the design “all in one” both models are ideal for large mining farms. Moreover, they can be installed both vertically and horizontally, making them “flexible” in relation to the planning of mining-space. Due to new high voltage power supply APW8 and the high voltage output 16-18, S15 and T15 are lower power loss during the conversion process of energy, helping to conserve energy.
