The creators of Kik messenger and its native cryptocurrency Kin will select 25 programmers for the development and operation of “independent economies” of the token. Program “Kin Developer Program” will last six months; total payment for labor of participants is allocated $3 million. The deadline for applications is August 10.

At the end of the program Kik hopes to obtain 25 working decentralized applications on the basis of Kin Ecosystem SDK that will allow how to earn and spend tokens. Each participant will receive support in the form of a personal mentor.

The program consists of three stages, each of which provides compensation for the performance of certain conditions. To get their share of the Fund in full, the participant shall by the beginning of October to integrate Kin with a pre-approved application; followed by January to reach a monthly indicator of activity in the 10 000 users and until 1 April to increase it to at least 50 000. The part of the remuneration will be paid in bitcoin: member, fulfill all the conditions, will receive $60 000 and 400 million KIN.

Private economy appeared in Kin after the integration with the premium functions of the messenger, which the company announced in late June.
