Samsung SDS, the IT unit of the South Korean technology giant, has announced the launch of logistics blockchain platforms Cello Square 3.0 based on artificial intelligence. This writes BusinessKorea.

According to the release, the technology of distributed registry makes it possible to track the whereabouts of the goods using the mobile app in real-time.

To avoid counterfeiting and fraud, using the blockchain and Near field communication (wireless communication technology for short distance) the buyer will be able to obtain information about the origin of the goods, country of origin, the name of the companies-importers and exporters.

The service will also allow you to save time and shipping costs by automatically calculating the shortest and least expensive routes.

The exact launch date of the project is still unknown. Head of logistics Department of Samsung SDS Kim Hyun-Tae said that Cello Square 3.0 will be “the best service for players in the global e-Commerce market”.
