As the site Crypto Globe with reference to the Polish media, the Polish police confiscated $11.6 million at the cryptocurrency of the project DasCoin, accused of cheating investors. The information was confirmed by press Secretary of the Prosecutor’s office Eva Bialek.
Alleged fraudulent character of the project arose in 2017 when certain working practices, the company has caused users issues. In the past 12 months continued the investigation, during which regulators found that the creators of the startup used a multi-level marketing scheme promoted by cryptosytem Net Leaders.
In September of this year investigators of the Warsaw Prosecutor’s office confirmed that DasCoin against a criminal case.
Until the authorities decided what to do with confiscated assets, and the creators DasCoin and Net Leaders not brought final charges, however, it is reported that they threatened with prison terms from six months to eight years.
On the news on the confiscation of assets price token DasCoin decreased by 11%.
