The number of bitcoin ATMs in Russia for two months decreased by 32% with 75 to 51. This is evidenced by the results of the study of the Russian Association of cryptocurrency and blockchain (RAKIB) and the company “Nanobit”, says RBC.

47% of bitcoin ATMs owned RUSbit, 28% — Investcoin24 and 19% BTC-O-Matic. Average turnover of one terminal in 2018 is estimated at $27 000, the profit was about $1800, the annual turnover of cryptomate — $320 000.

As noted, all these machines passed the full registration process in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

In September 2018, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation confiscated 22 cryptomate company BBFpro, citing the need to establish monitoring of transfers and cash withdrawals.
