During a traditional video conference the developers of Ethereum on Friday, October 12, it was announced that the planned hardwork Constantinople held, apparently, in November. This writes CoinDesk.

To date, the update is already in the code base of all the most popular network clients, including Ethereum Foundation and Parity, but the date is hard forks and, accordingly, the block number which is to be held activation remains undefined.

The update, however, depends on how smoothly hardwork will be held on a test network Ropsten, the activation of which were transferred due to a detected bug in one of the five upgrades and is to be held on Sunday, October 14.

However, at today’s meeting several developers of the clients confirmed that the overall ready-to-run on a test network.

“Developers are looking forward to the upcoming release Constantinople in the test network. We are on the right track and I hope that the release of Constantinople in the core network will take place less than a month after Devcon”, — said after the conference, the head of communications at Ethereum Foundation Hudson Jameson.

Previously, it was expected that the activation of Constantinople in the main Ethereum will be held prior to the conference Devcon4, which will be held from 30 October to 2 November in Prague. In September, the developers of Ethereum, however, said that the planned hardifort is likely to be held in December.
