In his speech at the conference BlockShow 2018 Europe Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales said that the cryptocurrency world is in a bubble, reports CoinTelegraph.
“At the moment we are in a bubble, cryptocurrencies are absolutely in a bubble. I don’t think many people will want to challenge this statement”, — he stressed.
His presentation was dedicated to the objective future of the cryptocurrency industry and how it differs from the picture painted by the media.
“I think this area needs a real journalism” — said Wales.
Recall that in October last year, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales called the primary distribution of coins (ICO) “utter scum”.
