Cryptoprocta Dash announced the launch of a Venezuelan users of cryptocurrency transactions via SMS — Text Dash.
As explained in the company Dash Text eliminates the need for owning a smartphone or computer and Internet access for a transaction of cryptocurrency. In suffering from hyperinflation the country with a rapidly impoverished population, many things become unavailable.
Dash with its decision focused on the millions of Venezuelans who can’t participate in cryptoamnesia because they don’t have smartphones and Internet access. Cryptocurrencies are becoming more popular in the country, as evidenced by the recent surge in the volume of trade bitcoins.
The solution Dash Text was created in collaboration with blockchain company BlockCyphe. Currently beta-testing service in conjunction with two major Telecom providers of Venezuela — Movistar and Digitel. Users can access the service by sending an SMS with the word “DASH” to the short number, another message is to be sent, to create a crypto.
Commenting on the potential demand for startup service transfer cryptocurrency via SMS, Director, Dash, global business development Zastrow Bradley (Bradley Zastrow) said:
“The Venezuelans living abroad, sending $2 billion back home in remittances. This process often takes too long and costs too much. Dash Text we provide real solutions that solve pressing problems. People need simple and cheap ways to send money home, and we did it this way to expand the ecosystem of the Dash for those who don’t have smartphones”.
Recall that recently the Venezuelans became available national cryptocurrency Petro, which they can buy for BTC, LTC, ETH or DASH.
