Non-profit charitable Wikimedia Foundation (Wikimedia Foundation), which provides support infrastructure for the work of multilingual crowdsourcing wiki projects, has partnered with payment service BitPay to implement accepting donations in bitcoin and Bitcoin to Cash.

As the representatives of the Fund, among those who support it, a growing interest in cryptocurrency, so adding support Bitcoin thanks to BitPay Cash was the next logical step in this direction. Though donations are accepted around the world and in various embodiments, the Fund concerned to make the procedure more effective and inexpensive. Commercial Director BitPay Sonny Singh (Sonny Singh) is convinced that BTC and BCH – allow to greatly reduce the cost of making payments that shifts the balance between the size of fees and the amount of donation in favor of the latter.

Recall that in the past year, the blockchain platform BitPay has processed cryptopedia in excess of $1 billion. Sonny Singh believes that by the end of 2019 the price of bitcoin will reach $15-$20 million – thanks to the launch of new products such financial giants as Fidelity and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), as well as changing the structure of kryptonyte and IPO companies such as Coinbase and Silvergate. Thus, in his opinion, cryptopedia will become a mass phenomenon in the next 3-5 years.
