Blockchain platform Bancor, which is a service to run tokens and crypto currency exchange, has undergone to hacker attack, which was stolen more than $13 million the company reported yesterday in its official Twitter.

“This morning, the security system of Bancor was hacked. The wallets of users were not compromised. For completion of the investigation, the site switched to maintenance in the near future we will provide more detailed information. We will try to resume work as soon as possible”.

In connection with the incident Bancor has been taken offline pending investigation. At the time of publication the website remains inaccessible.

In an interview with CoinDesk, the head of communications Bancor Nate Hindman (Hindman Nate) announced that the company has managed to prevent about 2.5 million native tokens BNT, thanks implementierung in the Protocol the system freeze.
