At the beginning of the 2019 infrastructure Lightning Network (LN) continues to grow rapidly — the number of the node this network is the second level in the past 30 days has grown by 16.57%.
According to the service 1ml, currently the number of LN-nod is 5008. These nodes link together more than 17 thousand of payment channels through which is transmitted a total of 532 BTC, equivalent to $2 million.
On average, every day there are 29 new nod and 462 of the new channel. The total number of the latter increased over the month by 36%.

We will remind, last month the blockchain-the Blockstream company was announced about adding support for Lightning Network data service network between the bitcoin space satellites.
