7 Jul an Australian cryptocurrency exchange, Independent Reserve will add support for the digital currency Ripple (XRP). This writes Mondovisione.
“To the Independent Reserve included in the listing of cryptocurrencies, it must meet a number of criteria, including quality indicators, stability, and trading volume. Our customers asked for XRP, and we felt that it was time to offer them,” said exchange CEO Adrian Prilozny.
To date, the platform supports bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin and Litecoin, Cash, and three Fiat currency — USD, AUD, NZD.
Note, Independent Reserve officially registered in the country and is a member of the Association of digital currency and Commerce of Australia (ADCCA).
In April, the country entered into force new rules for Australian cryptocurrency exchanges aimed at combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism. According to them, the ADCCA is responsible for checking the accreditation of the companies.
