6 Mar advertising platform myTarget beginning to accept payment in bitcoin for advertising on sites Mail.Ru Group, in particular in social networks “Classmates” and “Vkontakte” and its partners. It is reported vc.ru.
According to the publication, payments in bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are held through the company My.com that Mail.Ru Group opened in the U.S. in 2013.
“For payments Mail.Ru Group uses the BitPay platform: advertiser makes the necessary amount of cryptocurrency, and platform and application developers connected to myTarget, get paid in Fiat currency”, — said the representative of Mail.Ru Group.
It is expected that in the future apps will be able to get paid for advertising from bitcoin.
Recall, August 8 the social network “Vkontakte” has removed restrictions related to advertising of crypto-currencies on its platform, introduced in late July.
