The digital economy will be “cross-cutting agenda” all Russian departments. Comments about this RIA Novosti said the first Deputy head of the Russian government apparatus Maxim Akimov.

“Probably, it is difficult to name the field for which digitization would not have been now a major challenge, and from the point of view of conversion of inner work, and from the point of view of important technological breakthroughs”, he said.

Akimov added that a full transition to new technologies is inevitable and will happen soon.

We will remind, the state program “Digital economy”, is calculated till 2024, was approved by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in August 2017.

In January 2018, it became known that the government approved action plans for four areas of the programme, involving, in particular, of the sphere of cryptocurrencies and primary offerings of coins (ICO). For their implementation, the authorities intend to allocate about 522 billion.
