Blockchain-laboratory of Financial University under the government of the Russian Federation won the right to perform research in the field of state regulation of the use of blockchain technology. According to representatives of the University, the initial amount of competition, participation in which was applied the seven candidates, including Moscow state University and St. Petersburg state University, amounted to 7 million rubles, however, the financial University has agreed to perform the task for 5.25 million rubles.
According to the head of the blockchain-laboratory of financial University, Andrei varnavskiy, his team will create and justify a comprehensive concept of implementation of state regulatory measures based on international experience and the needs of the industry. In this specification, consisting of 7 sections was supplemented by fifteen “to full-fledged strategy of legal regulation”.
Recall from prepared by September 2018 by order of the state Duma of the document is expected “the most optimal for the Russian law approach to the regulation of the use of blockchain technology in the financial market”.
