Iranian authorities are considering a ban of access to Telegram messenger in the country for fear that released as part of the ICO token Gram can pose a threat to the national currency. It is reported by CoinDesk.

Meanwhile, the moderate President of Iran Hassan Rouhani said that the aim of creating and promoting Iranian and messengers should not be blocking applications, and the elimination of monopolies.

Earlier Telegram, which enjoys considerable popularity in Iran, had been the object of criticism from the country’s leadership, which believes he played a role in organizing protests in December 2017.
