“Bitcoin may 15 in Cash will be made to upgrade the protocols, after which the maximum block size will be increased to 32 MB and will be OP_CODES. Contact your BCH-exchanges, wallet providers and other stakeholders to test whether they are ready to upgrade”, — said in a Twitter group Bitcoin Cash Fans.

In the message Bitcoin ABC also noted that the version 0.17.0 is already ready and contains the code for the upgrade and transition to the new rules of consensus. Users support the Bitcoin node Cash, it is recommended to update immediately the Bitcoin ABC or other compatible to version 0.17.0. In addition, the team Bitcoin ABC promises to contact the major exchanges and providers to notify them about the upgrade.

In addition to increasing the unit up to 32 MB in version 0.17.0 will also be added or re-enabled operation codes (op codes), including OP_CAT, OP_AND, OP_OR, OP_XOR, OP_DIV, OP_MOD, OP_SPLIT, OP_SUBSTR, OP_NUM2BIN and OP_BIN2NUM. In turn, the size of the drive OP_RETURN will be increased to 220 bytes.

We will remind, at the end of last year, the developers of Bitcoin Cash published the roadmap of the project, which was planned to another increase in block size.
