Japanese IT giant Fujitsu announced the development of new software, which should help in preventive detection of errors in the source code of smart contracts Ethereum. This was reported in the company blog.

As stated in the press release, currently, there are six groups of risks typically associated with bloccano Ethereum. And while the existing technology can solve most of these difficulties, authentication of the integrity of the source code in case of multiple smart contract is still problematic.

It is noted that this feature of the blockchain allows you deliberately avoid authentication and “forge the origin of the transaction.” While existing programs are unable to detect the vulnerability because they are unable to track internal information of the transaction.

It is planned that the new system was jointly developed by the laboratory and research Department, Fujitsu will alert the developers about these vulnerabilities in the source code, allowing you to abuse the functions of the programming language Ethereum. In addition, the system can determine the exact location of the bug in the code.

Recall that in October last year, Fujitsu in cooperation with financial groups, Mizuho, Sumitomo Mitsui and Mitsubishi UFJ began pilot testing a cloud-based blockchain-based platform for p2p payments. In addition, the company has previously provided the blockchain is a solution for cross-platform transactions.
