Dow Jones Media Group (DJMG) started cooperation with startup Brave, developer of the eponymous browser-wide privacy settings.

Joint work of the companies is aimed at testing the application of blockchain technology for the promotion of media and advertising. In particular, the partners will assess the possibility of delivering content through digital advertising platform Brave using cryptocurrency Basic Attentionn Token (BAT). For this DJMG will provide the users browser, which has about 2 million, access to premium content publications, Barron’s and MarketWatch in the queue.

“We have been very pleased with the Dow Jones Media Group. Our new model brings together users and publishers without compromising privacy,” said co-founder and CEO of Brave Brendan IKE (Brendan Eich), better known as a developer of Mozilla and Javascript.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that the users browser Brave had the opportunity to pay a fee to the owners of their favourite channels on YouTube in tokens BAT.
