Under the Memorandum, the charity Binance will allocate $10 million to various educational programs devoted to the technology of the distributed registry. The Foundation also invests $5 million into the local blockchain startups.
In addition, Binance will help the Bermuda government to develop a legal framework for the blockchain and cryptocurrency. Also on this overseas territory of great Britain will soon open an office Binance.
Chanpen Zhao said that the government and the regulatory authorities of Bermuda are “among the most friendly on the planet” and expressed confidence that his company will also help develop the local economy.
