Russian Association of cryptocurrency and blockchain (RAKIB) along with industry associations of China and Korea in may, expect to file a joint lawsuit against Google, Twitter, Facebook, and Yandex for refusing the advertising of crypto-currencies. This was announced by the head of the Association Yuri Pripachkin during the Congress “Blockchain Russia-2018”.
According to him, the simultaneous failure of these companies from advertising cryptocurrency may indicate the presence of a cartel:
“The first step will be filing a collective lawsuit against Google, Facebook and other “Yandex”. We believe that this use of a monopoly position these companies entered into a cartel among themselves to manipulate the market.”
For filing a lawsuit in conjunction with industry associations from Korea and China, in the course of the Congress, created a new organization – the Eurasian Association of cryptocurrency and the blockchain. Petition will be filed in may in U.S. court. Financing plan the trial will occur at the expense of cryptofauna established by the Association. The lawsuit will be filed not only to organizations but also to their shareholders, if it turns out that those have cryptocotyle, Pripachkin said.
Recall that Facebook and Instagram banned the is ICO and cryptocurrency in late January. Google is introducing a similar ban from June, and in Yandex it exists since the fall of 2017. This week, Twitter also plans to update its policy and prohibit advertising ICO, cryptocell and cryptocurrency exchanges.
