Ripple today announced three new exchanges joining the ecosystem of the trading platforms that work with the XRP. They were Bittrex (USA), Bitso (Mexico) and Coins.ph (Philippines). The company announced in its official blog.

New partners received the status of “priority”; in practice, this means that any operations with the U.S. dollar and the Mexican or Philippine pesos, these sites will “move” among individuals as the most reliable liquidity providers.

“Bittrex is one of the biggest platforms for trading digital assets in the United States. The same can be said about Bitso on the Mexican market and about Coins.ph in Philippines. Therefore, cooperation with them is a key step in the development of xRapid”, — commented on the partnership, head of marketing strategies Ripple Cory Johnson (Cory Johnson). “We have already seen examples of several successful tests xRapid, and when we move the network from beta to full mode, these playgrounds will help us to provide comfort and safeguards for financial institutions to ensure a smooth conversion and processing of payments in different currencies.”

The Representative Coins.ph also commented on the future joint work:

“We are very pleased to work with Ripple over the use of the blockchain for international payments and to make sending money home easier for the more than 10 million living abroad Filipinos”.

Due to a succession of lawsuits Ripple had to slow down the expansion of RippleNet in new regions. According to the Vice-President of strategic directions Ripple in the EU, one of the most likely directions for the development of the company is China.
