Developer AT Opera Software have announced a strategic partnership with financial-consulting company Ledger Capital. Under the agreement, Capital Ledger will support Opera in search of ideas and further maintenance of the blockchain projects. A press release was published in the Opera corporate blog last Friday, September 28.

In the text of the press release said that under this partnership, both companies will be looking for “new ways to use the” blockchain, as well as potential “directions of growth” for the software package Opera.

Managing partner at Ledger Capital fairies Dignan (Ding’an Fei) noted the position of Opera in the market and expressed confidence in fruitful cooperation:

“Mozilla already has a leading position among browsers with innovative cryptocurrency wallet and the investments of other major cryptocurrency companies such as Bitmain. We look forward to see what steps will you take Opera, relying on his enormous ecosystem and technical skills [employees] to create growing value for its customers and for the blockchain industry as a whole.”

Opera has released a beta version of the browser with integrated crypto in July of this year. Initially the program was designed exclusively for smartphones based on the Android OS. Later, in August, a beta version of the program for PC users.
