The Creator of Litecoin Charlie Lee (Charlie Lee) announced that a new HTC smartphone that focuses on cryptocurrencies, will initially support the LTC by using the solutions for scalability Lightning Network (LN). In Twitter posts he also announced that, following the meeting with the developers of HTC Exodus, was among the advisors on the project along with head of Greater China 500 Startups Edith Jung (Edith Yeung), a Thiel Fellowship mentor and business accelerator StartX Chris MacKinnon (Chris McCann) and expert Coin Center Elizabeth stark (Elizabeth Stark).

HTC only confirmed Lee’s appointment as an adviser. The official account of the manufacturer of smartphones Twitter posted the following post:

“One small step for @SatoshiLite. One giant leap for the blockchain. Team @HTCExodus, @philchen913 @htc I would be honored to work with Charlie Lee as Advisor”.

Sam Lee commented on the news:

“[…] I’m a counselor because I believe that the availability of reliable crypto-smartphone, which simplifies the use of LN — a necessary condition for mass adoption. PS No, they don’t get support BTC”.

Recall that HTC has announced work on Exodus in may; then the stated functionality meant their own blockchain and support BTC and ETH. However, the company soon reconsidered: July 10, it was announced that the launch of the smartphone includes a built-in wallet and simulator Pets CryptoKitties.
