The China division of Amazon Web Services (AWS) has formed a partnership with blockchain project Qtum.

The company Qtum is the developer of the eponymous cryptocurrency, the amount of market capitalization which is $325 million. The project team has teamed up with cloud-based web giant AWS to create a BaaS solution for entrepreneurs and developers. The partnership was confirmed by the head of business development at AWS China Simon Wong (Simon Wang).

With the new product users of Amazon Web Services can quickly and cost-effectively create smart contracts using Amazon Machine Image (AMI) is a special type of virtual device in the cloud web service.

Qtum launched its public network about a year ago and has its headquarters in Singapore. These resources can be invested in expanding business and customer support. According to the Director of information technology Qtum Mike Palencia (Palencia Mike), the goal of the partnership with Amazon to know what are the options of using BaaS-product will have the greatest demand, receiving feedback from users. “We’re going to work together (approx. Amazon) to interact with customers. We study the use of the product, and the best way to do this is to know the opinion of the companies that use them,” said Palencia, “some clients have their own ideas and experts, and some of them need more support from us, they want to communicate with us directly.”
