The Maltese Department of financial services (MFSA) has issued a warning about a new global fraud scheme, known as the “bitcoin revolution”.

Crypto-Scam looks like a typical get rich quick scheme and works through the-bitcoinrevolution.org and a few other unnamed sites. The scheme is promoted through advertising on social networking platforms, which redirects users to pages that contain photos of famous local figures who say they get more profit from kryptonsite.

MFSA said that the Bitcoin Revolution is not registered in Malta and is not licensed to provide financial and investment services.

Singapore

Monetary management of Singaproe (MAS) also warned about a new Scam.

The fraudulent scheme is distributed through web sites that offer kriptosistema using false information attributed to the government. The websites claim that Singapore uses cryptocurrency as their official currency and asks users to provide personal and financial data to buy digital currency on an exclusive basis.

The Eurasian economic Commission

The Eurasian economic Commission has prepared the management report of the EEC currencies for the formation of regulation in this area.

“We have prepared an analytical report and will submit it soon. Will analyse the fact that all are cryptocurrencies that happens in the world, what approaches have countries, what is regulated,” Tatiana Valovaya, Minister for integration and macroeconomics of the Eurasian economic Commission.

USA

The house of representatives of the United States passed a bill approving a study on how crypto-currencies and online markets can contribute to sex trafficking or drug trafficking. Based on the results of the study will be proposed regulatory and legislative measures that may prevent such activities.
