The Minister of petroleum and head of PDVSA state-owned enterprises Manuel Quevedo announced that in 2019, Venezuela will make El Petro “chief digital currency of OPEC.”

As reported by Cuban state news Agency Prensa Latina, Venezuelan authorities plan to enter El Petro on the world market in the first quarter of next year. Manuel Quevedo convinced that this will not only help to improve the state of the economy, and “guarantee” will ensure its growth and prosperity.
“Fuel for aircraft and ships — all of which we will sell for El Petro. This is the currency of Venezuela”, — quotes the Minister of the Chinese news Agency Xinhua.
We will remind, recently it became known that several Venezuelan banks have started to display in El Petro account balances of users.
