The team of developers of the project Telegram Open Network (TON) is planning to end this autumn to launch a test version of a blockchain-based platform for transactions with the digital currency Gram.
It clarifies the newspaper “Vedomosti”, the project investors have received a letter from the developers of the platform, in which the latter informed the partners about the upcoming test of the new product capabilities.
In the Telegram stressed that the work on creation of the blockchain network is complete by 70%. The founder of the messenger Telegram Pavel Durov did not give any official comments in connection with the received information.
Recall, the developers of the platform TON planned not only to build a network for crypto operations with coins Gram, but also to integrate the service to store data about users.
The project was so interesting to investors, that during the pre-token-ICO Gram was raised a record sum of $1.7 billion as a result of Pavel Durov refused to launch the procedure of public offering of tokens, as already raised funds fully cover the cost of financing the Telegram Open Network.
