American startup VaultTel presented a tiny hardware crypto that is inserted into the slot for the SIM card of mobile phones, according to the Finance Magnates.

According to the company, the new device combines the app VaultTel App and special chip, which store private keys on devices that support biometric authentication.

On the website of the company says that the biometric authentication allows scripttrandate on your smartphone only to its owner. As an additional security measure, users can link chip to one device or a particular region.

The solution uses the block cipher algorithm AES 512, while in most platforms cryptocell used AES 256 and below.

The device is already available to U.S. residents for pre-order: version VaultTel for Android costs $98, set for iOS is considerably more expensive — $131. According to representatives of the startup, soon, the new device will be available for residents of EU countries.

We will remind, in January, the company introduced a Ledger hardware wallet Bluetooth, which is a enhanced version of the popular Nano model S.
