Users of the American crypto currency exchange Coinbase has filed with the Commission on securities and exchange Commission (SEC) and the Department for supervision of business in California page 134 of complaints with allegations of fraud. To request Mashable the SEC provided information about 115 officially submitted requests of users.
Many customers say that the crypto currency exchange is holding their money for long term without any explanation and ignores the numerous complaints or answers complete common phrases in formal emails.
So, one of the complaints describes a situation when sent in late December last year funds from one account to another was more than three weeks. Another user said that by sending $21 thousand, never got the money. Also there are occasions when in response to complaints of poor quality work Coinbase blocked user.
Recall that during the first days of March against Coinbase filed two lawsuits that affect a large number of users. According to analysts of the company Value Penguin, Bureau of financial consumer protection USA (CFPB) for the period from June 1 to 207 year to March 1, 2018 for activities Coinbase was filed 2271 complaint. 40% of them are associated with the lack of customers access to their funds, and explanations in response to complaints were given in 42.9% of cases.
