Provider of mobile payment solutions Uphold announced the purchase of the company JNK Securities Corp, member new York stock exchange and the filing of the application for the change of ownership of the mentioned entity in the Agency on regulation of activities of financial institutions (FINRA). This is stated in the official blog of Uphold.

In the event the application is approved, Uphold will be able to legally provide their users with the opportunity to trade stock and security tokens. JNK Securities clients will receive access to all trading pairs in the cryptocurrency/Fiat supported by the platform.

The company believe that the activities under the supervision of the Commission on securities and exchange Commission (SEC) and FINRA will provide customers with a reliable, transparent and secure access to digital assets.

Earlier, Coinbase has acquired a broker-dealer Keystone Capital and has applied for registration as a regulated platform for e-Commerce.
