The British company TransferGo made available to residents of India payments in real time based on the technology of Ripple. Reported by Finextra.
“Using the revolutionary blockchain technology from Ripple, it is possible to establish communication in real time between us and our banking partners in India. This will enable users TransferGo to send money to her family and friends, or making instant international money transfers”, — said CEO and founder Daumantas TransferGo Drinkas.
Also, the company representatives noted that services from Ripple allow to replace “a slow, but existing in the present day communication systems”, including SWIFT that handles the payments 2-3 days.
However, it is unknown what kind of Ripple products (xCurrent, xRapid or xVia) involved in the company TransferGo.
We will remind, in July, the money transfer service TransferGo has made available the possibility of buying and selling through the app cryptocurrency bitcoin, Cash Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and XRP.
