The creators built on the basis of Ethereum mobile client Status reported that on March 1 the first batch of their hardware crypto Keycard for free will go to beta testing to the developers that will be included in the first thousand who wished to participate in the program. The exact date of start of sales of the new device is still unknown and will depend on the test results, however, it is expected that its price will be $29 and order it will be the users of any country in the world.

The Keycard is built with an open API that gives you the ability to send, receive or save a cryptocurrency, contactless, and also create your own smart card. Reportedly, it will support transactions with bitcoin, Bitcoin, Cash, Litecoin, Ripple, Ethereum, tokens standard ERC20 and any currency with ECDSA-signatures. The device uses NFC technology to access private keys and can operate via USB with a desktop application.
