As reported by Trade Arabia, Bahrain University will launch a diploma on the blockchain.
To do this, the school plans to use an open standard Blockcerts developed by the Machine Learning startup. This decision involved the blockchain of bitcoin.
“Blockcerts provides a decentralized system of certification. The bitcoin blockchain acts as the trusted provider, and the credentials are verifiable and protected from unauthorized access”, — said the representatives of the startup.
Note that the decision Blockcerts also uses MLT, which is one of the first to use blockchain technology to issue diplomas.
