The amendments to the draft law “On crowd-funding”, adopted by the state Duma in the first reading in may, provided the maximum amount of investment in commercial projects for qualified investors. According to the document, private individuals can invest through crowdfunding platforms are not more than 600 thousand rubles a year. The new rule also will affect the ICO projects, according to RBC.

Operations in the amount of 600 thousand are subject to obligatory control by Rosfinmonitoring, in the framework of the fight against money laundering. The text of the bill also stated that the amount of investment in one project should not exceed 100 thousand rubles.

“Investing via crowdfunding (investment) platforms is risky and can lead to loss of all invested funds in full”, — told RBC representatives of the Central Bank, arguing that restrictions on investment.

The limit will not affect investment in social or charity projects. According to the head of the Duma Committee on financial markets Anatoly Aksakov, the bill will consider in January 2019.

Note, the draft laws “On digital of financial assets”, “crowdfunding” and “On amendments to the RF civil code” can form the basis for the regulation of kryptonyte in Russia.

Recall that the Central Bank intends to control the field of crowdfunding, it became known last year. According to the Central Bank, in 2017 the market of crowdfunding in Russia has exceeded 11 billion rubles.
