The IOTA Foundation has announced the public beta release of Trinity Desktop – a desktop wallet for your development project cryptocurrency. New product is available for Windows and Mac.

The mobile version of Trinity Wallet for IOTA – also in beta — was presented in may, and in July the developers said that the Trinity Desktop is for several months in alpha mode and should be released later this year.

“This rich functionality of the app with attractive user interface, which makes generating and storing keys, and send and receive IOTA in an easy and safe process,” wrote the developers.

It was also announced that the application will be subjected to the second account, the audit will hold the company Accessec GmbH.

Now, when this process is completed, the team IOTA announced that the Trinity Desktop is available for download. Code Mobile Trinity and Trinity Desktop is free and available in the repository on Github IOTA.

According to the latest version of the roadmap Trinity Trinity Trinity Mobile and Desktop have a number of functions, including quorum nodes, encrypted QR codes, multi-language support, creation of deep links. Desktop Trinity also supports hardware wallets Ledger’s Nano and best wallet, as well as YubiKey 2FA.

We will remind, in July, IOTA and startup +CityxChange became participants of the pilot project on development of “smart cities” Horizon 2020 with the support of the European Commission.
