The attempts of the Central Bank to limit the purchase of cryptocurrency unskilled investors aimed at halting the pace of financial transactions that are conducted without control of the government system, which has not yet established clear rules. Such an opinion in an interview with “Izvestiya” told the adviser of the Chairman of the Association “Financial innovation” Murad Salikhov.
Earlier on March 12, RBC announced that the Central Bank has drafted amendments allowing unqualified investors to buy digital of financial assets (scriptactive. — Ed.) only within a certain amount per year.

“The top feature of the volume scriptactive for unskilled investors will amount to 600 thousand rubles. This and other measures are now taken in Russia in an attempt to control the blockchain and associated system technology, introduced for the regulation of digital objects of civil rights”, — said Salikhov.
According to him, we are talking about rights, because such concepts as “digital money” and “digital currency” in Russia soon will not exist. It will only complicate the process of legalization of cryptocracy in Russia, said the financier.
“Now criptural and, accordingly, the turnover of the funds within it are still semi — so restrict purchases of cryptocurrencies and the adoption of digital rights, which are currently undergoing first reading, and introduced solely for the purpose to stabilize the situation and stop the pace of financial transactions that are conducted without control of the government system, which has not yet been clearly established boundaries and rules”, — concluded the expert.
