Japanese prosecutors have accused the head is inoperative bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox Mark Karpeles in the theft of 341 million yen ($3 million) from the Bank account of the trading platform. The corresponding statement prosecutors made at the Tokyo district court, demanding Karpeles to 10 years in prison, reports The Mainichi.

It is noted that in September-December 2013 the head of MtGox allegedly withdrew funds to personal Bank accounts and then invested in business development.

Karpeles also been accused of faking data trading system of the exchange for the fabrication of balances.

Recall that the deadline for applications affected investors under the civil rehabilitation Mt. Gox has been extended until the end of December.

Last time Karpeles was released on bail of 10 million yen in July 2016.
