Over the past eight months the development team TRON has grown from two to more than 40 people. This was announced by the head of Protocol of the project Marcus Zhao in an interview on YouTube.
The extension of the development team allowed the engineers working on the project, select the specialization and stabilize the blockchain TRON.
According to Zhao, the aim is “high performance and scalability”.

He also said that blockchain-the engineers who work in TRON Foundation, came to the company mainly from the “prestigious Internet companies,” such as Alibaba and Baidu.
The Convenor noted that the project had to go through a difficult period when it was necessary to develop, design, recruitment and interaction with the community TRON, it has only two engineers. This has led to overtime work and stress, but the team was quickly expanded to about 10 people.
A month after the launch of the core network TRON, which took place in June 2018, the number of engineers has reached 20 people.
In addition, the team was divided into three sub – groups command in the baseline architecture, the team algorithm and the command for the virtual machine, and smart contracts. This has improved code quality and stability of the public network.
To date, the development team TRON employs more than 40 engineers and senior level.
