The representatives of journalistic startups The Civil Media Company announced the start of sales of own token CVL, the proceeds of which will be used to support activities of non-profit organizations Civil Foundation.

Tocancel will continue until when it will be implemented 34 million tokens. The price of CVL will be calculated by a special formula and can range from $0,20 at the initial stage to $0,94 in the final sales. It is assumed that the total emissions of tokens will not exceed 100 million units.

Simultaneously for users and news organizations from around the world launched a program of registration of participants of the Civil community, which will allow them to take on a draft decision, to receive invitations to quarterly events, mailing list and access to a forum for direct communication with journalists and other editorial staff.

Recall that in October last year the founder of a startup Matthew Isles (Matthew Iles) reported that his project did not ICO, failed to attract the planned minimum investment of $8 million on developing blockchain platform and return funds to investors. Previously, the project has signed cooperation agreements with Associated Press and American Forbes.
