The Ministry of industry and information technology of China announced that it would begin to publish publicly available monthly rating of cryptocurrency, consisting of 28 items.

The first ranking will be published by the China Electronic Information Industry Development (CCID) next week. In the ranking of the GPCA (Global Public Chain Assessment Index) will be 28 cryptocurrencies, starting with the largest Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple, ending with Komodo and ARK.

Now government IT companies, government agencies and investment funds in China will be guided by the results of the rating when making decisions about investing in blockchain projects.

Recall that in late March the head of the government centre for research on blockchain technology Zhang Yifeng (Yifeng Zhang) confirmed that China is in the process of developing national digital currency, but the timing of its launch is still unknown.

In April it became known that the Chinese cryptocurrency exchange Huob, in continuation of its strategy of business expansion outside Asia, has announced plans to open a office in London.
