Blockchain startup TaTaTu involved in the production of films, the results of private placement of tokens collected $575 million investment. The bulk of the funds will be aimed at shooting a biographical film about the founder of the car brand Ferrari, writes CoinDesk.

Among the startup’s early investors include venture Capital company BlockTower, Prince Felix of Luxembourg and lady Monika Bacardi.

In the future TaTaTu plans to compete with Netflix by launching licenzirovanie service delivery streaming video on demand users.

“The new model of content distribution with the use of tokens TTU the rewards will be beneficial to all parties”, — considers the head of TaTaTu Andrea Iervolino.

At the same time, some skeptics confused by the lack of accurate information on the size of the issue of tokens. According to a whitepaper TaTaTu, for a private placement sold only 57% of the tokens, i.e. their total amount can reach a value of $1 billion.

Recall that in early June, the Russian actor and Director Konstantin Khabensky began work on creating a blockchain platform Cinematix for attracting investment in the movie.
