According to the researcher, the network deserves to be one of the leading blockchain-a platform for smart contracts. He also noted that the Ethereum community consists of more than 250 thousands of developers.
“This is a shocking number, despite the fact that the cryptocurrency industry is still in its initial stage of development. Developed by the Ethereum framework Truffle already has over 500 thousand downloads, and despite the fall in prices in 2018, investors ‘ interest in the platform continues to grow,” said Hands.
According to him, in order to create a competitive blockchain-a platform is not enough large investments. The potential of Ethereum depends on running a successful decentralized applications, and if the developers leave the platform, it will lose its value.
