Crypto-processing service Keplerk has launched a pilot project selling bitcoin for Fiat in six tobacco warehouses of Paris. About it writes Reuters.

According to the publication, 50, 100 or 250 EUR the customer gets a card with an alphanumeric code and a QR code that must be entered on the website Keplerk, after which bitcoins can be transferred to the required budget. Every such operation Keplerk charges a 7% Commission.

It is expected that by February the project will be extended by 6 500 tobacco shops.

We will remind, in November, the office for prudential, under the auspices of the Central Bank of France issued by the local Federation of tobacco shops for sale of cryptocurrencies in tobacco stores. However, soon, the Central Bank said it does not approve of this initiative.

We add that although Keplerk not licensed by local authorities, the ban on the sale of bitcoin is in the tobacco stores regulators could not stand.
