Chinese search giant Baidu has announced the launch of the operating system Baidu Blockchain Engine (BBE), created specifically for the development of decentralized applications.
The new platform is technology strategy Baidu “ABC”, which involves the application of artificial intelligence, big data and cloud computing.
The cloud platform is also designed to eliminate the high cost of storing data and lack of computing power.
“It makes the development of a DApp as simple as creating a mobile application”, — noted in the company.
BBE will give developers multimovie and mid-range frameworks, and templates for smart contracts and DApp.
“BBE is compatible with your private cloud with Baidu that allows customers to implement DApp for different business scenarios with a flexible platform “blockchain as a service” (BaaS)”, — said in a statement.
Special attention in the new operating system is given to mechanisms of data protection and privacy, thanks to the trusted computing environment and audit security for smart-contracts.
We will remind, in June 2018 Baidu introduced the blockchain engine X-Chain that is compatible with the protocols of bitcoin and Ethereum.
