In the Netherlands, about 200 thousand students passed the qualification test OVW, which also contain mathematical questions about bitcoin and blockchain technology. This is reported by Reddit users.

According to the published translation of examination papers, high school graduates are asked to calculate in what year the number of bitcoins will exceed 18 million, since when the reward is less than 1 BTC and what is the maximum number of bitcoins can be in circulation.

It is also noted that issues of bitcoin were included in the certification examination due to the fact that the Dutch government has changed its attitude towards cryptocurrencies.

Recall that in March the Amsterdam court has recognized bitcoin as “transmitted value”.
