The Polish Ministry of Finance has temporarily suspended the collection of the taxes with cryptocurrency investors to conduct a “deep analysis” on the basis of which will be offered improved regulatory and tax policies in relation to industry reports Stooq.pl.

The Agency has considered cryptocurrency transaction as the transfer of property rights and applied the income tax is of two types: 18% or 32% excluding charges of 1% in accordance with the civil law agreement.

Disgruntled investors have created a petition on the website Change.org with calls to abolish any taxation technology.

The Ministry acknowledged that the current regulatory framework may force cryptocurrency investors to pay taxes in excess of the initial amount of investment.

“The suspension of tax collection will allow us to conduct an in-depth analysis for the preparation of system solutions in this sector of the economy, including the tax component,” — said in the Ministry statement.

Earlier it became known that the Polish government spent $27 000 to Finance a propaganda campaign against the cryptocurrency.
