Genesis Global Trading, OTC platform for trading digital currencies, announced that the Office of financial services of new York (NYDFS) to respond to its request for getting Regulations – special license to do business in the state of new York.

As stated in the official message oriented institutional investors Genesis Global Trading was the first trading firm in new York, which has received the Regulations and will now be able to officially offer services for trading bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Until today Genesis Global Trading led activity on the basis of a special permit NYDFS about the “safe Harbor”.

Today’s decision was a significant step forward and confirms taken by us as a recognised trading partner strict measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements”, — said the CEO of Genesis Global Trading Michael Moreau.

Genesis Global Trading is registered with the SEC and FINRA broker and is in full possession of the Digital Currency Group (DCG) Barry Silbert. DCG is known for its numerous investments in the bitcoin and blockchain startups around the world, also owns an investment firm Grayscale Investments and online publication CoinDesk.

In addition to bitcoin, Genesis Global Trading has also been approved for the provision of services related to Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ripple (XRP), Litecoin (LTC) and zcash for (ZEC).

In April, Digital Currency Group has added to its investment portfolio oriented toward the privacy of the users of the coin ZenCash.
